Foreign Workers for the Services Sector in Malaysia
The services sector covers many different businesses, and only certain sub-sectors and positions are open to foreign workers. Final Choice helps you check whether yours qualifies and prepare the application.
Eligibility is sub-sector specific
Unlike manufacturing or plantation, the services sector is a broad category. Eligible sub-sectors, such as cleaning services, and permitted positions are set by current policy, and they are reviewed from time to time. We will not tell you an application is straightforward until we have checked your sub-sector against the current rules.
What service-sector employers should prepare
- Company registration and business licences
- Details of the services provided and the sites you operate at
- Premise documents
- Financial or tax records
- Records of current local and foreign workers
- Details of positions and number of workers needed
- Accommodation arrangements, where applicable
How we help
We assess eligibility first, then prepare the employer applications, including Section 60K and FWCMS or FWe Approval steps where applicable, and follow up. Recruitment is from Myanmar, Nepal and Bangladesh, subject to current policy and your eligibility.
